Sultana Projects has developed a series of
visual aids designed to help educators teach students about the
Chesapeake Bay ecosystem. The materials provide classroom teachers with
valuable information about salinity levels, white perch anatomy, SAV
acreage, the pH scale, dissolved oxygen levels required by marine life,
and the abundance of active bald eagle nests in the Chesapeake Bay
basin. Additionally, there are three line graphs which illustrate
trends in the blue crab, striped bass, and oyster fisheries over the
past 50 years. Each file is available in PDF format, and can be
downloaded or projected onto a white board in the classroom.
